Craftastic, Veg style!
When looking for a unique gift or piece of inexpensive art I always go to Etsy. But what if you want something unique and you want it to be sure it’s cruelty free? Etsy has the answer to that too! They allow people to form teams that have things in common. In this case I go to the veg & cruelty free teams There are quite a few of them to choose from. Here are two of the teams:
Here are a couple of my favorites from the veg teams:
Also if you search Vegan you will find almost 45,000 items that are vegan! From art to food to soap and accessories, you can get it all. I could spend all day looking through everything available (and today, I just might!). Lucky for me I have a birthday coming up, and a husband that reads the blog (hint, hint). Hopefully you’ll find some great things too. I always like to see what other people like, so leave us a comment with your favorite veg etsy thing!

Thanks so much for featuring the Vegan Etsy Team! When you shop with us you know that you are buying all-vegan products handmade by vegan sellers. You can easily find our stuff by checking out our team member page here: http://www.etsy.com/teams/6494/vegan-etsy You can also search our team tag: “veganetsy team”. One word of warning about just searching “vegan” on Etsy – unfortunately, many sellers mislabel items! (Not members of these teams of course.) So buyer beware. Fortunately, there *are* thousands of fantastic vegan items to be found on Etsy – so happy shopping! 😀
Thanks for the heads up about mislabeling Melissa!
I have that mug. I LOVE that mug. 🙂
Thanks so much for supporting EtsyVeg and Vegan Etsy! Yay! 😀

My pleasure!
It’s so great that you’ve brought some support to the veg teams of Etsy. I don’t think many people realize that it’s possible to search for not only a vegan item (which can often be unintentional and sold right next to an item that promotes animal cruelty), but from people that are passionate about being cruelty free! Simply searching with the “etsyveg” or “veganetsy” tags will get you some great results, but be sure to look through the shops of those sellers, as not every item may be tagged! There are some great gems out there waiting to be discovered!
And I was just about to warn of the mislabeling of some sellers on Etsy before I saw Mellissa’s post.

We’re always looking to support great vegan things. I’m always looking through the veg/vegan etsy stores! Glad I could share and hopefully more people will now be aware of all the crafty awesomeness!

kindred spirits. I am alwyas a savory bfast girl as well. Until i have a hankering for either granola or almond meal pancakes on the weekends. Now that you’ve mastered it, I think you’ll find it’s not just a bfast item, its the late afternoon snack, or something to seal the deal after a light dinner pretty fabulous stuff and SO much better than store bought. ANxious to try your version!
