Moro – who – a?

These tasty and nutritious noodles are my new fave.  Made from the Egyptian Morohieya plant (corchorus in Latin), they are full of vitamins and minerals while still managing to be delicious… like a grown up version of all the ramen I ate in college.  The picture shows how Another Monkey, a San Francisco restaurant, serves them up with veggies and tofu (highly recommended if you’re in SF), but you can get them at SF Whole Foods Markets, or online through GreeNoodle.  Catchy name, eh?  I plan on serving mine up with some peanut sauce and bok choy, but I’m sure they’d be great in a wide range of preparations.  Give them a try… and have a good weekend, everyone!
