Crunch, Crunch, Nom, Nom, Nom…

It’s no secret we like our chips here at VF, so of course when I see a new chip I have to try it. Today’s fave immediately caught my eye because it’s first flavor was roasted garlic the second, red pepper, I couldn’t leave them on the shelf. Cape Cod  made them and while the flavor wasn’t exactly what I was expecting it was good.

I know your thinking, what could be surprising about roasted garlic and red pepper? Well, I just assumed red pepper, the kind you put on salad, or that flavors hummus, that kind of red pepper. Apparently the red pepper is the spicy kind and these have a bit of a kick. Not a bad kick, just surprised me when I bit into my first chip. They did have great flavor though, I just thought they should be more aptly titled: Roasted Garlic and Crushed Red Pepper. Maybe in my next job, I can become a food namer, but for now, I’ll happily munch on these chips, thinking up better names for other things.
